Home Sweet Home is a furniture bank working with clients from over 50 local nonprofit organizations to get them much needed furnishings. We collect donations of beds, couches, dressers, dishes, kitchen utensils, blankets, towels, and more. Clients are welcomed into our warehouse to choose their own furnishings because this retail-like experience provides an experience filled with dignity and pride. Our movers deliver the furnishings to the client’s home the very next day.
While the core of our operation is redistribution of donated household goods, we cannot do this work without funding. From filling our trucks with gas and insuring them, to lighting and paying for our warehouse space, there are costs associated with serving our community. Home Sweet Home strives to use every dollar with respect for the people we serve and also for those who generously support this mission. Thank you for your generosity.
