Donation Logistics Coordinator
Reports to: Operations Director
FLSA (Fair Standards Act) Status: Full time; $24 Hourly
SUMMARY: Home Sweet Home relies on community generosity to furnish homes for families in need, and this position serves as the first point of contact for incoming donations from individuals and businesses. This role requires strong customer service skills, patience, and the ability to communicate with warmth and clarity, including explaining what items we are able to accept and why certain donations may not be a fit. The ideal candidate is comfortable “hand-holding” donors through the process, able to represent the organization’s mission in every interaction, and skilled at discerning donor intent and item suitability while maintaining a respectful and positive experience.
Furniture Mover/Driver
Reports to: Truck Lead / Operations Director
FLSA (Fair Standards Act) Status: Full or Part time; $21.54 Hourly
SUMMARY: The Furniture Mover/Driver plays a key role in advancing this mission by working with our moving team to pick up donated furniture across the region and deliver home essentials to families. This role requires a dependable team player who is comfortable with heavy lifting and driving a box truck. They must communicate clearly and professionally with donors and clients, ensuring every pickup and delivery is handled with care and respect.
