After a decade of working in the nonprofit world, Betsy founded Home Sweet Home when she realized the great need for a community furniture bank so those overcoming difficult circumstances can fill their new homes with the furniture and household items that everyone needs. Her passion for this work has propelled the agency’s growth from an all-volunteer organization to having a team of staff members and a dedicated board of directors. Eight years later, her commitment to Home Sweet Home’s mission is absolutely unwavering. On the weekends, this mom of two and voracious reader loves camping and hiking all over the country.
