Support Families Rebuilding After the Tornado
Home Sweet Home is the only furniture bank in the St. Louis area, providing essential furniture and household items that help families establish stable living conditions.
More than 100 families affected by the May 16 tornado are currently in need of our services—on top of our usual client referral list—and we expect that number to continue rising. To meet this growing need, we rely on both financial contributions and in-kind donations. Your support helps furnish hope and stability for families as they rebuild their lives.

When families move into an empty house after losing everything, your donation helps fill it with warmth and comfort. We serve roughly 25 families each week, and it costs around $1,500 to serve a family. Every contribution, regardless of the amount, brings them one step closer to having a safe place to call home.

To keep up with increasing demand, we need a steady stream of in-kind donations. View our accepted items list to see what we can accept. We offer a furniture pickup service and items can be dropped off at our Maplewood warehouse during regular donation hours.
